Injectables

Dermal Fillers are injections used to fill-in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue resulting in smoother, youthful looking skin. They can be used in areas such as the cheeks, the chin and lips to increase the volume and definition to these areas. There are a variety of lip fillers on the market but most are typically made of hylauronic acid. Muscle relaxing toxins and dermal fillers are the two most popular cosmetic treatments in the UK. As more and more people seek treatments for anti-ageing, the demand for professionally qualified and trained doctors, dentists and nurses is increasing.

We offer a combined injectables course aimed at healthcare professionals only in line with the JCCP recommendation about who can administer toxins and dermal fillers. We train over two full days to ensure your training is not rushed and you have enough time to ask questions and practice on your models in a supportive and professional environment.

Once you feel confident in your ability to use toxins and dermal fillers we offer a range of advanced masterclasses aimed at increasing your treatment range which will in turn offer a rewarding and lucrative career. With the need to repeat injections every 6-12 months it won’t take long for you to build a portfolio of clients and with treatments costing upwards of £350 it could add thousands per year to your income. Once you are trained with us we offer support to ensure you are comfortable practising independently.

Our foundation injectables course is aimed at healthcare professionals who want to take the first step in an aesthetic career or for existing practitioners who would like refresher training. Our tried and tested training methods are aimed with you in mind and comes from years of experience and feedback from hosting courses, seminars and demonstrations. The course consists of a series of seminars, observation of treatments and supervised practice. As this is often the first exposure to aesthetic medicine for many delegates the course will cover legal implications, accounting and practical considerations of aesthetic medicine. You will also learn to understand the indications for muscle relaxing toxins and dermal fillers. Finally, we will cover the potential complications of treatment and how to manage these should they arise.

We will teach delegates how to use muscle relaxing toxins to successfully treat forehead lines, crows feet and frown lines. Delegates will also learn how to perform simple lip augmentation, treatment of fine lines, treatment of nasolabial area and treatment of the mesolabial area using hyaluronic acid dermal fillers.

Delegates will be given the opportunity to practice on their own models during the day and given supervision and support in smaller groups to maximise their learning experience.

Our tried and tested training methods are aimed with you in mind and comes from years of experience and feedback from hosting courses, seminars and demonstrations. We combine seminar-based learning with observation and supervised practice of procedures. One of the key features of the course is consultation and advanced facial assessment. This allows delegates to appreciate a full face approach to facial rejuvenation. Throughout the course, we will discuss anatomy and physiology of the ageing face with particular attention to the midface, dermal filler bio-physiology, avoidance and management of complications and the use of hyaluronidase.

The course will expand your knowledge of muscle relaxing toxins to cover treatment of the neck, the jawline, the nose and lip depressors. It will also show you how to use muscle relaxing toxins to reduce masseteric bulk. We will also build on previous knowledge and experience with Dermal Fillers. We will cover rejuvenation of areas such as temples, cheeks, marionettes, jawline and chin.

Delegates will be given the opportunity to practice on their own models during the day and given supervision and support in smaller groups to maximise their learning experience.

Our advanced course aimed at doctors, dentists and nurses who have already undertaken our foundation injectables course. We also welcome healthcare professionals who have taken a foundation course elsewhere and we recommend 4 to 6 months experience of injectables with a minimum of treating at least 10 patients.
